4 Most played games in the history [2020 version]

Gaming is a huge industry. It has been developed and getting better by time for many years. In this post, we will talk about the most played video-games in gaming history. Some of them still being played until today, while others dropped out since some time. Let's find out!

1. Crossfire

Of course, while doing some research myself, I didn't expect this one coming in top1 in the list. But, that's the fact, Crossfire has the biggest number of registered accounts with 660 million.

Crossfire is an online free to play FPS (first-person shooter) game for PC, mainly Windows. It was developed by Smilegate Entertainment, released by Tencent Games back in 2007.

2. Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO)

With 600 million number of players, as known as DFO comes the second one. This Japanese video-game was released and published back in 2005 by Neople. Dungeon Fighter Online was first published under the name of "Dungeon & Fighter" only in Japan, while it was tested later with a global English version in China in 2014 which ended in a fast way.

This game is basically a 2D (2 dimensions) with the gameplay of fighting multiple monsters with different social aspects such as Party Play, Guilds and PvP Arenas.

3. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG)

PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) is one of the skyrocketing computer (PC), mobile, Xbox and iOS game. Since its first release, this game has attracted a large number of gamers around the world!

PUBG was released and published first time on Steam (Windows) in 2017. Today, it's one of the most (let's not say the first) played battle royale game worldwide!

The gameplay idea is quite interesting and funny that was copied from and to other popular games (Fortnite, Free Fire...). The round start with up to 100 players thrown down to an isolated island with a parachute, with the mission of getting survived until the end of it. The map (island) contains different weapons thrown and placed in different locations, which players should be looking for to use them to kill the other players ending with surviving!

4. Pac-Man Doodle

Who doesn't know Pacman?! Personally, I have seen many movies, video clips, mini clips, etc... Just about this game. It is one of the first released, published and the funny games in the gaming history!

The game idea is very simple, you take control of the Pacman (a yellow rounded monster) with the objective of eating all the dots in the screen. The gameplay occurs in some kind of 2D map, in which you will be followed and attacked by random coloured monsters (usually 4 to 5).

The round ends when you finish eating all the dots in the map without getting killed multiple times and losing your souls! You can eat these monsters only if you can eat a special fruit which will give you this power for a limited period of time!
